I'm shooting on RED, so I'm moderately concerned about rolling shutter artifacts with flashes, but I know they've decreased their read-reset time, so I'm hoping this won't be so bad. Also, I'm not shooting in Los Angeles, so using more commonly available materials would be ideal. Do they still make these flash bulbs and can you rent the strikers\sockets? I can't reallyĪfford Lightning Strikes, so I'm looking for a simpler and less expensive solution.
